Mr. Tang Min graduated from Wuhan University in 1982, and studied in the Department of Economics, University of Illinois at Urban Champaign, USA in 1984; after being awarded P.H.D degree in 1989, he worked in the Development Research Center, Asian Development Bank; in 2000, he was appointed as the Chief Economist of Resident Mission of Asian Development Bank in China. He retired from ADB in 2007 and was appointed as Deputy Secretary General of China Development Research Foundation of the Development Research Center of the State Council in 2007 – 2010. He was appointed as a Counselor of the State Council of the Government of the PRC. He is the Chairman of Institute of Globe Cross-Border E-commerce in the PRC. Also, he was adjunct Professor at Peking University, Wuhan University and Jinan University. Dr. Tang published many articles and books in education, macroeconomics, regional economic cooperation, and finance. Recently, he was appointed as the team leader of ADB TA of Sharing PRC’s and ADB’s Operational Knowledge in TVET with Six CAREC Member Countries.
